Asma Din is the lead Immigration Attorney at D&N Law Group. Asma is a result driven attorney who fights hard for her clients and their loved ones. Asma was born in California and moved to Austin, Texas in 2003. Asma graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Asma graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with highest honors. Asma earned her law degree in 2010 from South Texas College of Law and became licensed in 2012. Before heading the immigration practice at D&N Law Group, Asma gained invaluable experience living and working in Shenzhen, China as an EB-5 investor attorney. Upon her return to the U.S. in 2013, Asma decided to shift her focus to helping immigrants in deportation proceedings.

Asma has practiced Immigration Law exclusively since 2012 and prides herself in her commitment to helping immigrants navigate through complex immigration laws. Asma is highly skilled in deportation defense, appeals/motions to reopen, family based immigration, and advising clients and criminal defense attorneys on the immigration consequences of criminal convictions. Asma has used her strong litigation and negotiation skills to prevent deportation for her clients in immigration courts all across the country. As the daughter of Pakistani immigrants, she understands the issues often faced by those seeking legal status in the U.S. and fights hard to ensure that her clients get the best possible results in their cases. Mai Nguyen, Criminal Defense Attorney in Dallas, TX



Mai Nguyen is the lead Criminal Defense Attorney at D&N Law Group. Mai’s intense work ethic, attention to detail and passion for the law makes her an asset to the firm as well as her clients. Mai is originally from Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Houston, Texas in 2000. She attended Baylor University where she was part of organizations such as Phi Alpha Delta and Sigma Tau Delta. Mai graduated from Baylor University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Political Science. Mai earned her law degree in 2011 from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law now known as Texas A&M University School of Law and received her license in November of 2011. While in law school, Mai completed internships with the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office and a small civil firm. Upon graduation, Mai practiced many civil areas including family law, estate planning and personal injury. She gained invaluable experience and honed her legal skills while practicing many different areas of law before transitioning to criminal defense.

Mai truly found her passion when she began practicing criminal defense in 2014. She understands that everyone makes mistakes and that they should not be defined by one action. Mai has experience handling a wide array of criminal matters from misdemeanors to serious felonies. Mai is extremely comfortable in the courtroom and is a highly skilled litigator who truly cares about her clients and does all that she can to ensure that she obtains the best results for them. Ernesto Reyes



Ernesto is the initial point of contact for our clients. As the son of Mexican Immigrants, Ernesto understands the worry and stress that clients face when they or their loved ones find themselves in trouble with criminal or immigration authorities. Ernesto uses his experience in dealing with ICE to guide clients and their loved ones through the process of release from criminal and immigration custody. Ernesto is also well versed in preparing various immigration petitions. Ernesto prides himself in his customer service abilities and makes sure to go above and beyond to help our clients. Ernesto is fluent in Spanish.




Araceli is our legal assistant and works on both the criminal and immigration sides. She has a great demeanor while dealing with clients and is always ready to help our clients in whatever way she can. Araceli is very familiar with both the criminal and immigration process and strives to provide the best service to our clients. As someone who is close to her family, she understands how stressful it can be to have a loved one go through the complex legal process, and is always empathetic to our clients. Araceli handles all of the office calls after hours and is fluent in Spanish.
